Where live callers call into either "Download" the song or "Delete it" lol ... Mar-Var's song gets 2 downloads and 1 delete it from the callers. And another download from the Host DJ Rob J who said he's gonna have to download it...!

ILLSTRIP on the Justo Mix Tape Awards
What up everybody! We fresh back from NY. The award show was off the internet lol. Yeah it was an ill experience. Not a lot of big names in the building as far as artist go. Not even dj'z either. I guess alot DJz that were nominate feel that thier on another level. But thats just better newz for you dj'z and artist on the grind to step the game up. Cause the game is openning for change. Get on ya grizzly.
Lets get the important ILLSTRIP stuff out first. Well we were in the building but didnt get to perform as we were promised. We were told that we didnt arrive early for mic check so we couldnt perform. FYI, we were never told to arrive early for a mic check. So we didnt lol. If we were told that we would have been there promptly getting our levels right. But its all good we've been in these situations before and nothing surprises us. We will get our oppurtunity soon. We gonna keep grindin it out. And as far as the Street Album of the Year award. We didnt get it. Congradulations to Mr. Crisis who took the award back to Harlem. Sorry Delaware maybe next year.
Other highlights, Ashy Larry (dont know his real name lol) hosted the show. Some people didnt like his comedy but i thought he was funny. Buck Shot came out and did a crazy performance which barely anyone reacted to. COME ON NY WHERE IS THE LOVE!!!! lol ... DMC came out and dropped a real inspirational speach about how hip hop isnt just about DJ'z and Artist. And got a standing ovation (Buckshot deserved one for his performance!). Finally NY SHOWz SOME LOVE lol. The crowd was tuff in there. Maino was sitting right front row along with the ILLSTRIP. Guess who got more mentions from the stage lol. Yeah maino but Grouchy Greg shouted out the Strip .... Props to Grouchy Greg and Jigsaw for taking home the award for Executives of the Year. Alot people didnt agree with some of the nominations. Especially Mister Cee who straight rushed the stage to announce who he felt won the award and told that person (if they were there lol) to come collect this award now!!! Sure wish he had done that with the Street Album award lol ... Oh and shout out to DJ Radio bump'd into homey back in VIP.
It was alot of people in the building alot of networking going on. A great first time experience that we hope that we will get to experience again next year hopefully come back home with a Justo.
